Knox Mega Outlet & Showroom Grand Opening — Dubai
SolarSwitch was represented at the grand opening of the Knox Mega Outlet and Showroom in Dubai by Edgar Villanueva, Chief Executive Officer, and Jason Jimenez, Partner and Chief Marketing Officer — a new regional hub for Knox's hybrid inverter and lithium storage range, including the Krypton and Krypton Eco series and the Powerwall battery line. We attend these at principal level deliberately. Time on a showroom floor with a manufacturer's engineers is worth more than a datasheet — it means handling the equipment, asking direct questions about behaviour under load, and understanding how regional support and warranty channels actually function before we specify anything for a client in the Philippines. That matters because a warranty is only as good as the route to claiming it. When we put an inverter on a roof in Cavite or Laguna, the client is relying on that product still being supported eight years from now. The strength of the supply chain behind it is part of what we are specifying, not an afterthought. SolarSwitch maintains a presence in both Dubai and the Philippines, which gives us direct access to manufacturers rather than working through local resellers several steps removed. Relationships built in the UAE feed straight into what we install here — we have since carried out our own workshop testing on the Krypton Eco 6600 hybrid inverter before deploying it on client sites, because a specification sheet and a unit's behaviour on a bench are two different things.

Solar & Storage LIVE Philippines
SolarSwitch attended Day 2 of Solar & Storage LIVE Philippines at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, represented by Engr. Tino, Project Manager, and Engr. Jonathan, Sales Manager. The event brings together manufacturers, developers, EPC contractors and distribution utilities from across the Philippine solar and storage market — and it is one of the few places where the whole supply chain is in the same building at once. For us the value is technical rather than promotional. Time with manufacturers' engineering teams, sessions on where net metering and grid regulation are heading, and direct conversations with people running projects at scale all feed into the specifications we put in front of clients. Equipment decisions we make today have to hold up for twenty-five years, and the market moves faster than any datasheet suggests. Sending our Project Manager and Sales Manager together is deliberate. What gets specified and what gets built need to be the same thing, and that is easier when the person quoting the work and the person delivering it have heard the same briefing.
